Request for Bids RFB2021-064, (CSJ #0909-22-185). Sealed Bids will be accepted at the City of Waco’s Operations Center, 1415 N. 4th Street, Waco, TX until 2:00 P.M Thursday, January 20, 2022, for this project. The City of Waco and the Texas Department of Transportation have proposed a Safe Routes to School project for JH Hines Elementary. Pedestrian sidewalk construction will be from Chestnut Street to Elm Avenue along the west side of Clifton, from Payne Street to Elm Avenue along the east side of Garrison Street, and from Elm Avenue to Taylor Street along the east side of Forrest Street. Sidewalk and lighting are proposed along both sides of Elm Avenue from Forrest/Garrison to Clifton Street. Minor sidewalk connections are also proposed at Renick Street, Taylor Street, and to the YMCA on the west side of Garrison Street. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud at 2:01 P.M., via Video and Telecom Conferencing. A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held in person and on Zoom Video and by Dial In, on Wednesday, January 05, 2022, at 10:00 A.M.
