NOTICE OF CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF A TAX ABATEMENT AGREEMENT TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, in accordance with Texas Government Code, Chapter 551, known as the Open Meetings Act), as amended, and in accordance with Texas Tax Code, Section 312.207(c) and (d), the City Council of the City of Waco will consider the approval of a tax abatement agreement at its regularly scheduled City Council meeting on March 15, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. in the Bosque Theater in the Waco Convention Center at 100 Washington Ave., Waco, McLennan County, Texas. The proposed tax abatement agreement concerns the following: Name of Property Owner: Waco Industrial Foundation Name of Applicant for Tax Abatement Agreement: AstenJohnson Nonwovens Manufacturing, Inc. Location of the Enterprise Zone In Which the Property Subject to the Agreement is Located: Approximately 35.20 acres located on Tirey Road, Waco, TX 76705 in the Waco International Aviation Park, City of Waco, McLennan County, Texas, situated out of 250.664 in the TOMAS DE LA VEGA, Survey, Abstract No. 43 and located in a Texas Enterprise Zone, Census Block Group 483090017003013. General Description of the Nature of the Improvements or Repairs: AstenJohnson Nonwovens Manufacturing, Inc. will invest at least $42,000,000.00 for a nonwoven technology manufacturing and distribution facility, of which at least $22,000,000.00 will consist of real property improvements and at least $18, 000,000.00 will consist of personal property improvements.
