The Atletico remontada
A month ago, Atletico’s season had been heading in a downward direction.
They were floundering in their defence of the La Liga title and faced Manchester United in the Champions League.
Now, they have won four on the spin and are into the Champions League quarter-finals, having claimed a famous victory at Old Trafford that echoed the quintessential Diego Simeone teams of yesteryear.
Atletico are back.

Chelsea name Champions League squad
Thomas Tuchel’s side have arrived in France ahead of their Champions League tie against Lille.
Reece James and Callum Hudson-Odoi trained at Cobham on Tuesday but have not travelled with the team.
Cesar Azpilicueta has returned to Tuchel’s squad. Teenager Harvey Vale has been included to provide a left-sided option.
Ross Barkley, Ben Chilwell and Saul are the other players to miss out.

It was a performance worthy of a point against league leaders Manchester City.
Crystal Palace were on the back foot for the majority of the game but it was discipline and intensity that helped them keep Pep Guardiola’s side at bay.
