The Panama Panthers took care of the hosting Dunkirk Marauders (0-4) in the Dunkirk Girls Holiday JamFest with a 59-31 victory on Monday.
At halftime the Panthers led by seven points, but they continued to improve as they outscored Dunkirk 20-7 in the third and then 12-4 in the final quarter.
The Panthers (2-3) were led by Lillian Odell with 15 points including three 3-pointers; Mandy Brink added 12 more points and grabbed six steals; and Maddie Lisciandro turned in a strong performance with nine rebounds, six steals, 6 points and five assists.

The Fredonia girls basketball team opened the Dunkirk Girls Holiday JamFest with a 53-45 victory over Franklinville.
The Hillbillies held a 25-24 lead at halftime, but won the game in the third quarter when they outscored the Panthers 18-11.
Fredonia’s effort was led by Nevaeh Zadzilka with 22 points, including six 3-pointers; Ella Koopman scored 12 points including two 3-pointers and dished out five assists; and Ashlynn Delcamp grabbed 11 rebounds while scoring 4 points.
Fredonia’s next game in the tournament is against Westfield/Brocton at noon today.

Archbishop Walsh 16
The Westfield/Brocton Wolverines began the Dunkirk Girls Holiday JamFest with a 72-16 victory over Archbishop Walsh.
The Wolverines (2-3) raced to a 22-0 lead after the first quarter and led 36-2 at halftime.
Archbishop Walsh had a little more success in the second half, but it was not nearly enough as the Wolverines cruised to the victory.
“It was a total team effort,” said Westfield/Brocton head coach Chris Dole. “Everybody played and everybody scored.”
Tanleigh Bestine led the Wolverines with 22 points, including five 3-pointers, while adding seven rebounds and collecting five steals; Haleigh Dellow had a big game with 16 points, dominated the glass with 14 rebounds, made four blocks and dished out eight assists while recording seven steals; Makartnee Mortimer had a career-high 8 points, pulled down seven rebounds and grabbed four steals; and Keara Kincaid added 8 points, 10 rebounds and had three steals.
