Meanwhile, Chicago sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 119-115 win over the New York Knicks this past Thursday. Having forecasted a close win for the Bulls, the oddsmakers were right on the money. It was another big night for their small forward DeMar DeRozan, who had 34 points along with six rebounds.
The wins brought Brooklyn up to 16-6 and Chicago to 15-8.
